Reporting Concerns Regarding the Care, Treatment or Use of Animals

The VASDHS IACUC investigates all concerns regarding the care, treatment, and use of animals for research or teaching. Reports can be submitted in writing on a Report of Concern Involving the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals form or by email or telephone. Anonymous concerns are accepted and are investigated.

Any individual who reports a concern is protected from reprisal under federal law.

"No facility employee, Committee member, or laboratory personnel shall be discriminated against or be subject to any reprisal for reporting violations of any regulation or standards under the Act." (9 CFR)
